Job Title: Business Improvement Analyst

Salary: £42,479 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Mapping processes, analysing data in excel, generating insights and producing prioritized action plans
- Preparing compelling stories (using PowerPoint, charts etc. where needed), and forming project plans that lead to sustainable results. Being able to run improvement meetings with stakeholders
- Utilizing technical problem-solving frameworks (such as ‘value driver trees’) – exact toolset needed for role will be covered in training. rking ‘in the field’ to solve problems. This will include technical, organisational, process, people problems. Includes applying ‘split-solving’
- Planning and prioritising effectively, linking KPIs to value, and communicating progress upwards to project lead
- Using appropriate tools to identify and form an understanding of relevant stakeholders, and the likely change requirement from them
- Building trusting relationships with stakeholders on projects, and will visibly add value to project conversations
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Previous business improvement experience from a manufacture environment, operation environment
- Previous experience of working in a team who have delivered business improvement experience
- Proven experience of delivering improvement solutions e.g Improving waste, Reducing operation improvement
Desirable:
- Experience in Lean background
- Degree qualification or Six sigma qualifications

The Operational Excellence team:
You will be working as a Business Improvement Analyst in the Operational Excellence team. This team is responsible for identifying and prioritising business improvement opportunities and then working with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that lead to measurable improvements for the business. Initially, you will be deployed into the Dreadnought Programme at BAE's Integrated Combat Systems business to deliver Business Improvements, carrying out projects in areas such as labour efficiency.
